A Celebration of Art

In McMinnville, Oregon

For years, Andy Phillips’ striking mural—The Chicken Lady—stood alone in this quiet alley between NE Davis and NE Evans Streets. Then came the summer of 2024, and with it, a bold reimagining.

Fueled by a grant from T-Mobile Hometown Grant and the support of Visit McMinnville and the McMinnville Downtown Association, this once-overlooked corridor was reborn as McMinnville Art Alley—an open-air gallery alive with color, story, and local soul. Today, each mural adds a distinct voice, honoring the city’s creativity, diversity, history, and natural beauty.

The project has since expanded to include the Alley Galley, a dynamic, multi-use arts space housed within the offices of Visit McMinnville. Here, community art projects come to life, and local artists are invited to exhibit their work in a welcoming, accessible setting.

This isn’t just public art—it’s McMinnville’s story, painted on the walls for all to see.

A vivid love letter to people, place, and possibility.
